Artist and Record Company

fmMediaRelated, fmEditArtists, fmEditRecordCompany - Editing Artists and Record Companies


Artist and Record Company sections allow you to manage your Artist and Record Company data.

Record Artist

Record Artist section allows you to view, refresh, add, edit and delete recording artists.

In order to Add/Edit a recording artist:

Click on Add Artist button or Edit Artist button .

You'll see the edit artist window.

Enter/Edit the artist's name - this field is required. If you have a picture of the artist you can:

  • browse contents of your local folders and select an image. When you press OK button on artist edit form it will be uploaded to "Images directory" on FTP. When local image is selected, this field will display local image path like the following - C:\My Images\some_image.jpg. But local image path will be replaced with image name some_image.jpg right after upload.
  • select some image stored remotely. It can be done by browsing contents of FTP folder specified as "Images directory".
  • open Image Resize Rules window. You can add or delete rules if you need.
  1. Set date added and last modified - for internal use only
  2. Set artist info language
  3. Specify date of the last click.
  4. If the artist has a web site, you can enter the full site name (including http://) in the artists URL field.
  5. Specify the number of URL clicks.
  6. Click 'OK' button to save this entry, or click on cancel button to discard it.

Record Company

Record Artist section allows you to view, refresh, add, edit and delete record companies.

In order to Add/Edit a recording company:

Click on Add or Edit button . You'll see the edit record company window.

Enter/Edit the record company name - this field is required.

If you have a picture of the the company name you can:

    • browse contents of your local folders and select an image. When you press OK button on edit form it will be uploaded to "Images directory" on FTP. When local image is selected, this field will display local image path like the following - C:\My Images\some_image.jpg. But local image path will be replaced with image name some_image.jpg right after upload.
    • select some image stored remotely. It's done by browsing contents of FTP folder specified as "Images directory".
    • open Image Resize Rules window. You can add or delete rules if you need one.
